This provisional application supplements prior patent filings and covers innovations for a wireless power transfer (WPT) system for charging electric vehicles including private consumer EVs, fleets of electric vehicles, and equipment operating as autonomous vehicles. The WPT system can manipulate a charging coil in x, y and z directions for alignment with a receiving coil for overhead charging of the EV.
This U.S. provisional patent application filing comes on the heels of the publication on July 13, 2023 of PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty) International Patent Application Publication No. WO2023132962A1, which covers pivotal aspects of the QKOIL Inductive Wireless Electric Vehicle (EV) Charging System. The QKOIL Inductive Wireless EV Charging System is an above-the-vehicle inductive wireless charging solution that utilizes wireless power transmitting and receiving coils to wirelessly charge an EV's battery. The power receiving coil is strategically positioned on the surface of the EV, such as the hood, frunk, roof, and more.
